The success of polypropylene (PP) on the rigid packaging market is mainly related to its versatility, ease of processing, wide functional properties and environmental acceptability. The combination of numerous advantages, low price and high availability results in PP becoming a material that is more and more often used for a variety of applications in the rigid packaging segment. The rigid packaging market is dominated by food packaging. Packaging for non-food products manufactured by various industries consist a much smaller proportion of the market and are used in sectors such as: dispersion paints, cosmetics and health care as well as reusable containers used in households.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
