(\u2018BOP\u2019\/ \u2018Company\u2019). As of 01<sup>st<\/sup> August 2022, he is replacing Laurent Hautier, who has headed up BOP since February 2019.<\/h2>\n<p>\u2018I am very pleased to have the opportunity to work with the BOP Management Board team and BOP\u2019s employees. The power of our creative, dedicated workforce is BOP\u2019s most critical asset. The Company is well known for its world scale PP <em>Spheripol*<\/em> and HDPE <em>Hostalen*<\/em> plants located in the heart of Poland and Europe manufacturing great diversity of innovative products which are delivered to the polyolefin converters in the region. Together with the whole value chain we will continue make the polyolefin industry strong, reliable and sustainable,\u2019 said Michael O\u2019Bert.<\/p>\n<p>Michael O&#8217;Bert has been working in LyondellBasell for over 41 years, where currently he is the Global Director Methanol, Acetyls &amp; Ethylene Oxide Derivatives. He has developed his extensive career holding various roles in the area of: refining; olefins; intermediates and derivatives. He has also been taking responsibilities in corporate functions. Michael O\u2019Bert holds a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from TAMU (Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University), Texas and Master in Business from UH-CLC (<em>University of Houston<\/em><em>-Clear Lake),<\/em> Texas.
